5. Dear Laura and everyone I know, Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus. Thank you for sharing the Word of God. Thank you for your prophetic words. As the prophet Jeremiah wrote this almost 600 years before Christ and before Judah was captured by Babylon, these words could apply today: PROMISE:"A lion has come out of his lair; a destroyer of nations has set out. He has left his place to lay waste your land. Your towns will lie in ruins without inhabitant. So put on sackcloth, lament, and wail, for the firece anger of the Lord has not turned away from us." (4:7-8) Chapters 4 - 6 deals with the sinful condition of Judah. Jeremiah tells of the judgments of God against the people. It has gotten to the point that the Lord is bringing disaster to the country. "For I am bringing disaster from the north, even terrible destruction. A besieging army is coming from a distant land, raising a war cry against the cities of Judah. Your own conduct and actions have brought this upon you." Not one is upright. The corruption of the people was wide spread. There was no fear or respect for the Lord. "They have lied about the Lord; they said, He will do nothing! No harm will come to us; we will never see sword or famine." God is bringing an ancient and enduring nation against them. Since they do not fear the Lord or wish to receive his blessings, "Your wrongdoings have kept these away; your sins have deprived you of good." Jerusalem under siege."Flee for safety, people of Benjamin! Flee from Jerusalem! Look an army is coming from the land of the north; a great nation is being stirred up from the ends of the earth. Do not go out to the fields or walk on the roads, for the enemy has a sword, and there is terror on every side." As I was reading, though, the following touched me. Maybe it will touch the heart of at least one person reading this. Jeremiah 5:20-31 (New Living Translation) A Warning for Gods People (20) "Make this announcement to Israel and to Judah: (21) Listen, you foolish and senseless people--who have eyes but do not see, who have ears but do not hear. (22) Do you have no respect for me? Why do you not tremble in my presence? I, the LORD, am the one who defines the ocean's sandy shoreline, an everlasting boundary that the waters cannot cross. The waves may toss and roar, but they can never pass the bounds I set. (23) "But my people have stubborn and rebellious hearts. They have turned against me and have chosen to practice idolatry. (24) They do not say from the heart, `Let us live in awe of the LORD our God, for he gives us rain each spring and fall, assuring us of plentiful harvests.' (25) Your wickedness has deprived you of these wonderful blessings. Your sin has robbed you of all these good things. (26) "Among my people are wicked men who lie in wait for victims like a hunter hiding in a blind. They are continually setting traps for other people. (27) Like a cage filled with birds, their homes are filled with evil plots. And the result? Now they are great and rich. (28) They are well fed and well groomed, and there is no limit to their wicked deeds. They refuse justice to orphans and deny the rights of the poor. (29) Should I not punish them for this?" asks the LORD. "Should I not avenge myself against a nation such as this? (30) "A horrible and shocking thing has happened in this land-- (31) the prophets give false prophecies, and the priests rule with an iron hand. And worse yet, my people like it that way! But what will you do when the end comes? No additional comments are required by me. Your words and the Holy Spirit with those who read this should be clear. God bless you and your family. JEREMIAH 5: 4 I will get me unto the great men, and will speak unto them; for they have known the way of the LORD, and the judgement of their GOD; but these have altogether broken the yoke, and burst the bonds. JEREMIAH 5: 5 But this people hath a revolting and a rebellious heart; they are revolted and gone. JEREMIAH 5: 23 Thus saith the LORD, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches; But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the LORD which exercise loving kindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth; for in these things I delight saith the LORD. 6. Dear Laura and Everyone I know, Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus. Thank you for responding to pain and the salvation that may bring us out of it, through Christ, our Savior. Isaiah 47Prediction of Babylon's Fall (and New Orleans)(10) "You felt secure in all your wickedness. `No one sees me,' you said. Your `wisdom' and `knowledge' have caused you to turn away from me and claim, `I am self-sufficient and not accountable to anyone!' (11) So disaster will overtake you suddenly, and you won't be able to charm it away. Calamity will fall upon you, and you won't be able to buy your way out. A catastrophe will arise so fast that you won't know what hit you. (12) "Call out the demon hordes you have worshiped all these years. Ask them to help you strike terror into the hearts of people once again. (13) You have more than enough advisers, astrologers, and stargazers. Let them stand up and save you from what the future holds. (14) But they are as useless as dried grass burning in a fire. They cannot even save themselves! You will get no help from them at all. Their hearth is not a place to sit for warmth. (15) And all your friends, those with whom you have done business since childhood, will slip away and disappear, unable to help. Look at the mardy grawl etc......... look at how they parade down the streets naked,,,,, in front of everyone,,,,????? stay drunk for days, and nights,,,,,,, the town glorifies the whole episode...... Are those people crying out to GOD WITH A REPENTANCE HEART YET ??????? ARE THEY GIVING GOD THE GLORY FOR BEING ALIVE?????? It's strange how all the talk was about the hurricane being biblical porportion, etc? Strange how they say they can't figure out where the water is rising now, etc??? THE BIBLE is clear that NO FLESH WILL GLORY IN HIS PRESENCE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE BIBLE says that GOD GIVES HIS GLORY TO NOONE And we know that THE BIBLE SAYS REBELLION IS AS WITCHCRAFT////////// Study ISAIAH 47: For thous hast trusted in thy wickedness; thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom, and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me. 7. Dear Pastor George and Everyone I Know, Greetings in the name of Christ Jesus. Thank you for your prophetic message. Thank you for thinking of me. Thank you for sharing the Word of God. As I read Matthew 4:17-20, I am being led to share some comments on it and the scriptures identified herein. Matthew 4:17-20 (New Living Translation) (17) From then on, Jesus began to preach, "Turn from your sins and turn to God, because the Kingdom of Heaven is near." The First Disciples (18) One day as Jesus was walking along the shore beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers--Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew--fishing with a net, for they were commercial fishermen. (19) Jesus called out to them, "Come, be my disciples, and I will show you how to fish for people!" (20) And they left their nets at once and went with him.
As I rededicated my life to God, He showed me the way and I followed His directions, as a disciple of Christ. He said to do what Jesus did. He fed the poor and proclaimed the Good News with repentance. I only desire to do His will, and He created the Waikiki Beach Outreach Ministry for me to DO something for Him. He, in turn, gives me a love, joy, and peace that I had never experienced before, praise the Lord. Obviously, He directed you on another path. The opening of Christ's ministry in Galilee.It is just with God to take the gospel and the means of grace, from those that slight them and thrust them away. Christ will not stay long where he is not welcome. Those who are without Christ, are in the dark. They were sitting in this condition, a contented posture; they chose it rather than light; they were willingly ignorant. When the gospel comes, light comes; when it comes to any place, when it comes to any soul, it makes day there. Light discovers and directs; so does the gospel. The doctrine of repentance is right gospel doctrine. Not only the austere John Baptist, but the gracious Jesus, preached repentance. There is still the same reason to do so. The kingdom of heaven was not reckoned to be fully come, till the pouring out of the Holy Spirit after Christ's ascension. Beloved Brethren, When he sees all that is accomplished by his anguish, he will be satisfied. And because of what he has experienced, my righteous servant will make it possible for many to be counted righteous, for he will bear all their sins. The Christ, Jesus, died to give me a new freedom from guilt and allow me to see life from a different perception. He does this to all who follow Him as Isaiah proclaimed 700 years before Christ was born. God showed him the vision of the future. He shows us smaller visions that my be revealed in our lives (though there may be others who see greater visions). He developed the vision of a church under the sky of Waikiki for me to DO something for Him. I declare unto you that GOD SHALL MAKE YOU. (1) Then the LORD told Abram, "Leave your country, your relatives, and your father's house, and go to the land that I will show you. (2) I will cause you to become the father of a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and I will make you a blessing to others. (3) I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you. All the families of the earth will be blessed through you." God calls Abram, and blesses him with a promise of Christ.God made choice of Abram, and singled him out from among his fellow-idolaters, that he might reserve a people for himself, among whom his true worship might be maintained till the coming of Christ. From henceforward Abram and his seed are almost the only subject of the history in the Bible. Abram was tried whether he loved God better than all, and whether he could willingly leave all to go with God. His kindred and his father's house were a constant temptation to him, he could not continue among them without danger of being infected by them. Those who leave their sins, and turn to God, will be unspeakable gainers by the change. The command God gave to Abram, is much the same with the gospel call, for natural affection must give way to Divine grace. Sin, and all the occasions of it, must be forsaken; particularly bad company. Here are many great and precious promises. All God's precepts are attended with promises to the obedient. 1. I will make of thee a great nation. When God took Abram from his own people, he promised to make him the head of another people. 2. I will bless thee. Obedient believers shall be sure to inherit the blessing. 3. I will make thy name great. The name of obedient believers shall certainly be made great. 4. Thou shalt be a blessing. Good men are the blessings of their country. 5. I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee. God will take care that none are losers, by any service done for his people. 6. In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Jesus Christ is the great blessing of the world, the greatest that ever the world possessed. All the true blessedness the world is now, or ever shall be possessed of, is owing to Abram and his posterity. Through them we have a Bible, a Savior, and a gospel. They are the stock on which the Christian church is grafted. Please note that SELF MADE MEN ARE SELF We have all benefited from the rich blessings he brought to us--one gracious blessing after another. John the Baptist came to bear witness concerning Jesus. Nothing more fully shows the darkness of men's minds, than that when the Light had appeared, there needed a witness to call attention to it. Christ was the true Light; that great Light which deserves to be called so. By his Spirit and grace he enlightens all that are enlightened to salvation; and those that are not enlightened by him, perish in darkness. Christ was in the world when he took our nature upon him, and dwelt among us. The Son of the Highest was here in this lower world. He was in the world, but not of it. He came to save a lost world, because it was a world of his own making. Yet the world knew him not. When he comes as a Judge, the world shall know him. Many say that they are Christ's own, yet do not receive him, because they will not part with their sins, nor have him to reign over them. All the children of God are born again. This new birth is through the word of God as the means, 1Pe 1:23, and by the Spirit of God as the Author. By his Divine presence Christ always was in the world. But now that the fullness of time was come, he was, after another manner, God manifested in the flesh. But observe the beams of his Divine glory, which darted through this veil of flesh. Men discover their weaknesses to those most familiar with them, but it was not so with Christ; those most intimate with him saw most of his glory. Although he was in the form of a servant, as to outward circumstances, yet, in respect of graces, his form was like the Son of God His Divine glory appeared in the holiness of his doctrine, and in his miracles. He was full of grace, fully acceptable to his Father, therefore qualified to plead for us; and full of truth, fully aware of the things he was to reveal. JESUS IS THE SAME TODAY, YESTERDAY, and FOREVER I THANK YOU FOR GIVING ME THE PRIVELEGE TO KNOW YOU, and TO BRING OTHERS TO YOUR ROYAL THRONE OF GRACE, and LAY THEM DOWN UPON YOUR SACRED ALTAR, and to BLESS them with GOD THE BREAKER ANNOINTING THAT DESTROYS THE YOKE, and TAKES AWAY THE BURDEN, and FILLING THEIR LIFE WITH THE OVERRUNNING JOY OF THE LORD, and GODS LOVE, for GOD IS LOVE,,,,,,,,,,,, and LOVE IS GOD THANK YOU LORD FOR BREAKING US< AND OUR NATION of everything that displeases you in YOUR HOLY PRESENCE,,,,,, for we KNOW THAT YOU ARE A HOLY GOD, and that Obidance is better than sacrafice................ THANK YOU JESUS THANK YOU LORD for setting our priorites, and making YOU FIRST IN OUR LIVES, and then OUR SPOUSE, and CHILDREN, and family. I THANK YOU FATHER GOD for returning the hearts of the fathers back to the children, and the childrens hearts back to their fathers., and for transfering the wealth of the wicked, and disobident back over to the just, the righteous, and the obdieant. for the GLORY OF GOD, and to do YOUR WILL LORD, NOT OURS ! THANK YOU FATHER GOD for giving us LEADERS IN THE WORD OF GOD with boldness, and INTERGRITY AGAIN............. THANK YOU LORD THAT RIGHTEOUSNESS EXALTS A NATION , but sin is a reproach to any people. THANK YOU FATHER GOD for letting us STAND OF YOUR WORD to KNOW, and to BELIEVE that WHEN A MANS WAYS PLEASE THE LORD HE MAKETH HIS ENEMIES TO BE AT PEACE WITH HIM,,,,,, and we know that this word is not only for an individual, as it is for a family, and a NATION, and all NATIONS of the WORLD............... I THANK YOU PERSONALLY LORD GOD FOR getting rid of the addictive drugs that man has misused to mislead, others, and try to destroy lives, and famalies, and nations due to the greed, and lust in their hearts. I THANK YOU LORD THAT YOU NEVER TAKE SECOND PLACE OVER ANYONE, and or ANYTHING........... THANK YOU LORD, it's not about us I THANK YOU for TOUCHING US ALL,,,,,, and giving us the opportunity to be your VOICE, your HANDS, and your feet in doing YOUR WILL LORD................ I THANK YOU THAT YOU THOUGHT OF ME WHEN YOU WERE ON THE CROSS, and YOUR LOVE IS WHAT KEPT YOU ON THAT CROSS, and that LOVE HAS CARRIED ME now for 50 years, with the privelege to live in FREEDOM, and PEACE and LOVE that you gave me....... I PRAY FOR ALL TO KNOW THAT FRREDOM,,, and not live in bondage, with depression, stress, addictions, and anger, and unforgivness.............. and to live WITH A GRATEFUL HEART,,,,,,,,, an additude of GRADITUDE ! THANK YOU LORD FOR SAVING MY FAMILY,,,,,,,, and bringing us together as only you could............. THANK YOU FOR GIVING US ABUNDANTLY EVERYTHING WE NEED AND MORE to be, and do what you have called us to be, and do......... THANK YOU FOR THE PROTECTION THAT ONLY YOU CAN PROVIDE,,,,,,,,, and we know that NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST US SHALL PROSPER IN THE NAME OF JESUS........ We know that YOU DID NOT GIVE US A SPIRIT OF FEAR,,, but of POWER< LOVE< and A SOUND MIND !!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU JESUS THANK YOU LORD FOR BRINGING OUR SON HOME FROM IRAQ and not a hair of his head HARMED AS YOUR WORD SAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU LORD FOR PROTECTING THOSE AROUND HIM, and US as well.............. FOR WE KNOW YOUR WORD SAYS ONE LORD, ONE FAITH ONE BAPTISUM ! FOR THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD ONE GOD IN THREE PERSONS AND HIS NAME IF CHRIST JESUS !
