THE LIFE RECOVERY MINISTRY                 

 We perceive that recovery from addictions are significant life changing experiences, so we perceive the issues to be the same.  Whether we are dealing with birth, mental illness, health challenges, marriage, divorce, death, or other issue that require us to perceive life a little bit differently, then maybe this site might be able to help us. 

 This site is essentially a written Bible study where we share our thoughts about the Bible.  We do not intend to cause anyone distress, so if anyone seems to be offended by any words shared here, those persons must leave the site, or consider what the Holy Spirit might be showing us.  We condemn no one here, we just talk about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.  We focus on the spiritual nature of man as described in the Bible.  We believe that man consists of body, soul, and spirit; thats what the Bible tells us.  If anyone does not want to hear the voice of the Lord as it is written in the Bible, then those persons need to seek their answers elsewhere.

 As we review our Bibles, we might be touched by some verses and we discuss how they might be applied in our daily life to help us deal with recovery or significant life changing experiences.  As we comment on the scriptures, this web site is a compilation of some of those written comments.  Some of comments may be derived from other peoples words, other peoples web sites and emails, parts from the Life Recovery Bible, some from BibleGateway.com, or from other commentaries, but no comments are intended to be misused.  As people share scriptures to me, I tend to read other comments, meditated on them, then respond as I believe the Lord is guiding me to do.   I do not intend to "steal" anyone elses commentaries.

 My name is Bob Erb.  God seemed to be calling me most of my life to follow Him, but I didnt choose to follow Him until I was ready to commit suicide as I was homeless on Waikiki Beach and I felt nobody cared (but God did).  God has led me to be steward of the Waikiki Beach Outreach Ministry.  He also has led me to bring the Word of God to those who desire to have a personal relationship with Him.  That is the objective of this site.
